Story
Founded in 1975, the Hirschjägers have been spreading the joy and fun of German Heritage through song and dance across Virginia. Our history is rooted in Bavaria, Germany, and our commitment is to spreading that history to all during Oktoberfest season. We are always looking for new members, and love when people come out to dance or have a beer with us during the season.
Our practices take place most Fridays from 7 pm - 9 pm at St. Andrew's Methodist Church in the gym. Was are looking for new dancers of all ages and of all levels of dancing knowledge.

Our Fahnenweihe
We had such a successful Fahnenweihe and 50th Stiftungsfest in 2025. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported us in this wonderful milestone. This new flag not only represents our club, but will take us into the 50 years of this club.
